Maple Panchetta Brussels Sprouts

About the Recipe


  • 1 pound pancetta

  • 1½ pounds Brussels sprouts, halved

  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

  • ½ teaspoon pepper freshly cracked black


  1. Place the pancetta in a large skillet. Set the skillet over medium heat and cook, stirring occasionally, about 5-7 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the pancetta to a paper towel–lined plate.

  2. Add the olive oil to the same skillet and increase the heat to medium high. Add Brussels sprouts, cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until the sprouts are lightly browned. Flip and cook, stirring continuously, until they are tender, 3 to 4 minutes.

  3. Return pancetta to the skillet and add the maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Stir until the sprouts are coated. Serve warm.
