About the Recipe

Great as an appetizer or even as a dessert


  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta, the freshest you can get

  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil, additional for baguette slices

  • 3 teaspoons honey

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • Pinch of black pepper

  • 1 Baguette, sliced, if using


  1. In a bowl, whisk ricotta for 2 minutes until it's smooth and creamy

  2. In a separate bowl, stir together the lemon zest, olive oil, honey, and salt.

  3. Pour the honey mixture on top of the whipped ricotta.

  4. Top with freshly ground black pepper as desired. Serve with toasted baguette slices
