Lasagna Bolognese

About the Recipe


  • 1 box lasagna noodles

  • 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey

  • 15 oz ricotta cheese

  • 8 oz block of mozzerella

  • 1 egg

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 1 jar tomato sauce

  • hot pepper flakes


  • Cook lasagna noodles per directions on box, strain and put aside

  • In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese and egg

  • Brown meat and drain the extra fat

  • Add in the tomato sauce

  • Very thinly slice the garlic and add to sauce, and sprinkle in red pepper flakes

  • Let the meat cook for around 10 minutes

  • In a casserole pan, put a little sauce on the bottom to lightly coat the pan

  • Place a layer of noodles next to each other

  • Put a layer of meat sauce

  • Place another layer of noodles in the criss cross direction

  • Place a layer of ricotta cheese

  • Keep criss crossing noodles and alternating meat and cheese layers

  • It is is okay to rip noodles lengths to fit

  • When out of ingredients, heat in oven at 450 degrees until hot

  • When hot, cover with mozzarella slices and continue ti heat until cheese melts

  • Cut serve and enjoy
